  • NIOS students must select a state as per their study centre’s location.
  • Indian nationals passing Class 12 in Nepal/Bhutan: State code determined by the passport’s permanent Indian address.
  • OCI candidates’ state code of eligibility is similar to that of Indian Nationals. While OCI Candidates passing from an abroad institution are eligible for the All India seats quota only. Home State quota is not applicable in NITs/IIITs/CFTIs.
