NTA JEE Main Admit Card 2027 can be downloaded from jeemain.nta.nic.in. The authority issues individual admit cards for both sessions, each with a unique roll number and centre.
This mandatory hall ticket allows candidates to enter the exam centre and displays the exam date, shift timings, full centre address, photograph, signature, and seat assignment.
NTA releases the JEE Main admit card 3–4 days before the exam date. After verifying all the details, candidates must take a printout.

How to Download JEE Main Admit Card?
To download the admit card for JEE Main 2027, follow the steps mentioned below:-
- Visit the official website and log in using Application number (12-digit from confirmation page), DOB (DD/MM/YYYY), security pin (image-distorted digits).
- Click on “login”

- Verify all the details displayed on the page.
- Self-attest: “I _________ certify details correct, no prohibited items carried.”
- Click on “Download the Admit Card” and save it for future use.
Found Discrepancies in JEE Main Admit Card?
If any mistake is found on the JEE Main Admit Card, candidates must immediately contact NTA.
- To contact use the NTA help line from 10 AM to 5 PM.
- In case of discrepancies, candidates must take the exam using their downloaded admit card, while authorities make the required corrections afterwards in the records.
Documents to Carry Along with JEE Main Admit Card

JEE Main 2027 Admit Card: Important Instructions
- Exam authorities allow entry only on the date and time mentioned on the admit card.
- Those who arrive after gate closure are barred from appearing in the exam. Forceful entry attempts or arguments with staff count as UFM.
- Exam centres do not issue duplicate admit cards under any circumstances.
- Any alteration or tampering with the admit card details triggers UFM classification.
- Authorities do not send admit cards via post.
- Incomplete applications (blurry photos, unsigned forms) or ineligible candidates receive no admit cards.

JEE Main 2027 Exam Day Guidelines
Reporting Time
- Arrive 2 Hours Early: Report to the exam centre at least 2 hours before your shift starts. Traffic jams, train delays, or other issues will not be considered. Gate closure occurs 30 minutes before the exam, and late entry is not allowed. NTA takes no responsibility for delays.
Seating Instruction
- Immediate Hall Seating: Take assigned roll number seats right after the hall opens. Late reporting post-gate closure denies entry permanently; NTA ignores all excuses.
- Assigned Seats Only: Locate and sit in your roll number-marked seat exclusively. Seat switching will be considered as UFM, leading to candidature cancellation or debarment; no excuses accepted.
ID Verification
- Admit Card + ID Mandatory: Show downloaded NTA admit card + valid photo ID on demand. Staff verifies the candidate’s identity via biometrics/photo.
Exam Support & Rules
- Verify Question Paper Subject: Confirm the admit card’s opted paper/subject on the computer screen. If it’s the wrong paper, notify the invigilator immediately.
- Technical/First Aid Support: Candidates can approach the room invigilator or Centre Superintendent for technical help, first aid emergencies, or any other information during the exam.
- Multi-Shift Fraud Penalty: Candidates using fake details to appear in multiple shifts/dates face UFM charges, resulting in candidature cancellation or debarment up to 3 years.
- No Re-Test Option: Candidates who missed their scheduled date/shift or pre-intimated time for any reason get no re-test opportunity from NTA under any circumstances.
Prohibited Items & Dress Code
- Prohibited Items Ban: No geometry boxes, bags, papers/stationery, eatables/water (except sealed 500ml post-frisk), mobiles/earphones, calculators, electronic watches, metallic items, cameras, log tables allowed.
- Dress code: Sikh candidates are allowed to wear “KARA” and “KIRPAN”.
