JEE Main Form Correction 2027: Dates, Link, Fees & Editable Fields

NTA opens the JEE Main form correction window once per session. Candidates can modify their JEE Main application form by logging in with their application number and password.

  • Candidates can not change their mobile number, e-mail address, address, emergency contact details, or photograph.

Candidates must pay non-refundable additional fees via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

JEE Main Correction Window is a one-time facility, so make the changes very carefully, as NTA provides no further opportunities.

What Can be Changed During JEE Main Correction Window?

NTA allows corrections in specific fields during the JEE Main correction window. Changes are categorised by permission levels, with some limited to one selection. Tabulated below represent fields that can be edited in the JEE Application form.

What Can’t be Changed During JEE Main Correction Window?

Certain fields in the JEE Main Form Correction window cannot be edited, so fill them carefully during initial submission.

How to Make Changes During JEE Main Correction Window?

To make changes in the application form during JEE Main form correction, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:-

  • Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and log in using the application number and password.
  • Click “Correction Window,” edit allowed fields (preview changes), pay extra fee if needed, then submit—form locks permanently.
  • NTA sends SMS/email confirmation; double-check before finalising.

FAQs

Ques. Can I change the question paper language during the JEE Main correction window?

Ans. Yes, candidates can change the medium of examination (e.g., English to Hindi) during the JEE Main form correction. The exam must be attempted in the registered medium and cannot be changed on the exam day.

Ques. Can I change my choice of paper in the JEE Main Correction window?

Ans. Yes, Students can change the choice of paper. Candidates must pay an additional fee for more than one paper.

Ans. Yes, you can correct your Date of Birth (DOB) during the JEE Main Session 2 correction window, even if registered for both sessions.
